August 2025 Care Packages Delivered

In August 2025, we personally visited the Wayuu tribes in La Guajira, Colombia — bringing large water jugs, food staples, and treats for the children. Seeing their smiles inspired us to begin a monthly commitment: providing care packages to Indigenous Wayuu families, supported by every Tayrona purchase.

September 2025 Care Packages Delivered

In September 2025, Tayrona delivered our very first monthly care packages to Indigenous Wayuu families in La Guajira, Colombia.

Each package included:

  • Cooking essentials like rice, pasta, oil, and coffee
  • Fresh produce such as potatoes
  • Clean drinking water

Together, these packages supported a number of families with essential food and supplies.

This marks the start of our ongoing commitment: every month, thanks to your purchases, we’ll continue providing vital support while preserving the Wayuu’s rich artisan traditions.

Our Urgent Mission: Clean Water

The Wayuu have extremely limited access to drinking water due to government neglect & harsh environmental conditions. Through funds generated from sales, Tayrona is tackling this by providing an automatic water pump and filter system for consistent, clean drinking water – a fundamental human right.
